Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunity NHS Quality Improvement Scotland is on the look out for volunteers to play a vital role in helping them improve the safety and quality of patient care. Volunteers work with them to ensure that the voice of patients and the public are heard. Volunteers could take part in a range of work, for example as a member of a review team visiting health boards in Scotland to assess their performance. If you have good communication and analytical skills, have not been employed in the health service within the last five years and are able to dedicate approximately one day a month, they would like to hear from you. No previous experience is required as appropriate training will be given. You will be expected to undertake some travel throughout Scotland and overnight stays when required (expenses will be paid) for informal enquiries please contact Joyce Mouriki on 0141 225 5565 or email: joyce.mouriki@nhs.net and for an application pack email: annemiller@nhs.net or telephone 0131 623 4328 Please respond by 8th March 2010 to be considered for the next intake.
