NHS QIS Consultation
NHS QIS Single Equality Scheme 2010–2013 Consultation
NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) are inviting comments on their first Single Equality Scheme (SES) from everyone who works with them and from those who have an interest in their work. NHS QIS would particularly like to hear your views on their objectives and action plan to deliver equality. They also want to know if you think they have covered all aspects of their disability, gender and race equality duties, or if there are still things they need to include.
NHS QIS have produced a consultation questionnaire to help you respond. They will consider your comments and use them to inform and finalise their Single Equality Scheme. NHS QIS will also produce a report on the comments they receive, so you can see how consultation has helped them to improve their Single Equality Scheme. The consultation period runs from 1 July 2010 to 30 September 2010. The final version of the scheme and the consultation report will be published in December 2010.
The Single Equality Scheme (and easy read summary), consultation questionnaire and equalities monitoring form can be downloaded from www.nhshealthquality.org or directly by clicking here. The questionnaires can also be answered online here: Single Equality Scheme 2010-2013 Consultation and SES equality monitoring.
