What is DotComUnity?

DotComUnity is an online resource of services and support for disabled people across the UK.  It’s a website with information on every area of independent living.  DotComUnity has recently been launched in Scotland by the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS).    And unlike some web portals, DotComUnity doesn’t focus on the price of services but on the quality of services.

 

Search by Local Area or by Subject

You can search for services by your postcode to within 5 miles of where your live.   Find out what’s going on in your local area and in your local community. From information on accessible art classes, computer courses and yoga, to local care providers and housing support agencies in your local area, to sports activities, accessible holidays, financial and benefit advice services, you can find it all on DotComUnity.

 

Provide Feedback and Rate a Service

You can rate services, giving them one to five stars and provide comments.  

 

Post Events

You can advertise and promote events, groups, courses and clubs in your local area.
