 Interrelate:

A coalition of mental health consumer/survivor networks from seven countries: New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and United States. Their mission is to inspire hope and strengthen the capacity of people with mental health issues to lead national and international policy, and achieve recovery and wellbeing.

European Network of (ex-) Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (ENUSP):

ENUSP brings together (ex-)users and survivors of psychiatric services, giving them a means to exchange opinions, views and experiences. They aim to reduce injustice and stigma throughout the represented countries and support (ex-)users/survivors autonomy and responsibility in making their own decisions.

World Network of Users and Survivers of Psychiatry (WNUSP):

WNUSP is an international organisation, led by and representing users and survivors of psychiatry. They advocate for the human rights of users/survivors, promote the user/survivor movement and provide links for organisations and individuals around the world.

Mind Freedom International:

An international coalition of over one hundred grassroots groups and thousands of individual members from fourteen nations. It was founded in 1988 to advocate against forced medication, medical restraints, and involuntary electroconvulsive therapy. Its mission is to protect the rights of people who have been labeled with psychiatric disorders.

Mental Health Europe:

A membership organisation which supports its member organisations to achieve greater acknowledgement and funding through information, exchange and consultation. They are involved in lobbying European institutions in order to raise the profile of mental health and develop recommendations and policies on mental health issues.

WHO Mental Health:

Within the World Health Organisation, The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse provides leadership and guidance for the achievement of two broad objectives: closing the gap between what is needed and what is currently available to reduce the burden of mental disorders worldwide and promoting mental health.
