This course will give you an understanding of the signs and symptoms of the most common forms of mental illness. You will explore the range of factors in people’s lives that can have a negative impact on their mental health. You will also explore the additional pressures which can affect people from refugee and new migrant communities. You will be able to identify appropriate support for those with mental health problems. Who's it for?
- Anyone looking to increase their knowledge of the barriers faced by people with mental health problems and the impact this can have on accessing services, employment and housing.
