IPCU Report Launch Event

NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS), in collaboration with The Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, Voices of eXperience (VOX) Scotland and Better Together has completed the first stage of a project to profile IPCU(Intensive Psychiatric Care Units) provision across Scotland. We looked at:

  • what it feels like to experience an IPCU for both patients and carers
  • what would improve the patient and carer experience
  • the services that are available and how they are arranged, and
  • the profile of people who use IPCU’s.
QIS would like to invite you to attend the launch of their overview report, which contains the key findings of all of the above work.
